These sessions take place in a few different ways:
in-person at our Toronto studio, virtually (with multiple camera angles and screen sharing), or occasionally on location – especially if it’s somewhere interesting I want to visit.
Guests ask questions in real time, and Dana walks them through everything live. That can include demonstrating xTool Studio, engraving or cutting projects relevant to their goals, and diving into the capabilities of xTool’s F-Series machines. Depending on the conversation, they also get into best practices for small businesses (especially jewelry), and pricing and business strategies.
Who is Dana?
Dana has over 30 years in the jewelry industry and has launched multiple businesses – including turning a student side hustle into what is now Stones And Findings, an international company. Along the way, we’ve helped launch and scale countless small businesses (many to incredible success), and today we support customers in nearly 40 countries.
Dana is a public speaker at the Permanent Jewelry Expo, and we are a leading distributor of Sunstone micro welders and permanent jewelry supplies worldwide, and the dominant leader in Canada!
Beyond the technical side, Dana tries to bring real conversations into each session. She is genuinely curious about people’s journeys, and believes there’s something to learn from everyone we meet.
