Setting Up a Pop-Up Shop: Part 8 – Signage

Signage is a vital communication tool for any company or designer.  It communicates professionalism and provides a name to the face, so to speak.  If customers are walking by, and want to return later, you want them to remember you or be able to look you up if you’re selling online.

Professional signs can be made very inexpensively.  In the video, the custom-made coroplast sign was purchased through an online printer. This was amazingly easy to do, the graphics were uploaded in minutes and the sign arrived in 3 business days.  Coroplast is structured like corrugated cardboard but made of waterproof plastic. This 4mm thick sign cost CAD $30 plus shipping.  The signs can be cut to any specification and holes were punched in the plastic so it could be hung u or fastened, this sign was held up with steel jewelry wire because it was readily available.  However, an easel or any sign holder would suffice.
