Recommended Jump Rings:
A) For the End Link of the chain:
- What gauge open jump ring to use: Up to 26ga, 0.40mm
- Recommended open jump ring/ wire: Link is very small. Best to wire wrap if not soldering. Wire wrap with 26ga Round Wire By-the-Meter
- If soldering / welding – 2.5mm 26ga or 3mm 26ga
- 26ga is a tight fit. You can enlarge link with a pin or thumbtack. Watch this video to see how to enlarge the end loop for easier use.
B) For the Links Within the chain:
These jump rings are perfect for sizing your permanent jewelry pieces and for attaching charms along the chain.
- What gauge open jump ring to use: Link is too small to allow a jump ring
