Will All the Stones be the Same Size? These stones are cut and set by hand. The average size is 6mm. However, please allow for slight differences in size, shape and thickness of the gemstone.
Will All the Stones be the Same Color? Natural gemstones often vary in colour and each batch of raw material used may be different in appearance even though it is the same gemstone. For example: You may find that some batches of rose quartz are lighter in colour and may have more inclusions than your previous purchase. This is normal and to be expected with natural gemstones.
Can the Stone Pop Out? These connectors are bezel set by hand. This means the bezel wire is pulled tight and held with tension and a touch of glue. This is an industry norm for these stone connectors. They should be hard to pop out, but it is still possible as it is tension holding them and sterling is malleable. For example: If the connector gets twisted or caught on something and the bezel gets stretched. If you are making permanent jewelry, the connector will get way more wear and tear than a clasped piece.Â
