Use a long ball pin (2″ long) and thread the 3mm beads for the tail, then beads for the body bead and then the cap. The cap fits ideally an 8mm bead.
If your bead is irregular in shape, adjust the cap slightly to fit snug around the bead.
Using a pair of round nose pliers, make a loop with the head pin. Then switch to chain nose (flat) pliers. While holding onto the loop, wrap the head pin downward, below the loop.
The best way to do this is to push the pin, along with the cap, around as you coil.
Then trim, bend the tail, now you’re ready to attach the kitty onto an earring hook.
