How to Wire Wrap Cultured Freshwater Pearl or Stone Bead Connector for Bracelets

In this video, I show how to wrap a pearl connector using wire and freshwater seed pearls. The same technique applies for any bead and for any number of beads. It is a great idea for the number of beads to represent the family unit, number of kids, or birthstones, to commemorate major milestones!

I am demonstrating how to pre-wrap the connectors so that you can use them for welding a permanent bracelet. However, if you do not wish to weld later, you can connect the chain to the wire wrapped loop by threading the chain into the loop before closing the loop with wraps.

Tip – Round Nose Pliers help to create smooth loops. Remember the number of wraps you make on one side and make the same number on the other for balance. Trim as desired and adjust accordingly.

In this video I used:

24ga (0.5mm) soft gold filled wire (online product code FW12G)

3mm cultured freshwater pearls (PXA6L)
