This video shows how to wire wrap beads on a chain in a cluster style. This method works for both a necklace and earrings.
We’ve used 26 gauge gold filled wire and 2mm green tourmaline beads. The same concept works using either wire or head pins, just thread in reverse order.
For wire, thread it through a loop in the chain, followed by the bead, bend the wire and crimp down to make a stopper and to keep the bead from sliding off ( skip this step if you’re using head pins instead of wire ). Make a small loop at the end of the wire using round nose pliers. Slide the chain into the loop before closing the loop with wraps. Trim the wire and the process can be repeated. The cluster or grape pattern can be achieved by alternating the loops from which the beads hang and making sure they’re not hanging on the same side.
