How to open a Click Back Huggie Hoop Earring
I am going to show you in this video how to open a Click Back Huggie Hoop Earring. There are different styles of hinged hoops on the market. Some huggies require you to press down on a pin that is attached on a hinge. Another style is the Click Back where the hinge is in the middle of the hoop and the pin is soldered to the hoop.
The Click Back Huggie Hoop Earring is very easy to use. Since the hinge is in the middle of the of the hoop, a small diameter hoop (small enough to huge just the earlobe) can open much larger. This makes it easy to slip onto the ear. Simply hold both sides of the hinge and gently pull open. You do not need to press down or up on the pin. To close, simply push the two sides together until you hear a click – when the hoop is locked.
If you press the pin, it might get slightly deformed. You can simply adjust it back to its original shape with a pair of pliers and you’re good to go.
