2012 Fall Colour Trends

This autumn, we’re seeing the return of a lot of our favorite colours and styles, and it’s not difficult to design around the trends this season.

First up, we’re seeing a lot of designers step out by pairing black accents with Burnt Orange. It’s a slightly toned down variation on last season’s bright orange, and looks oh-so classy for the office or hitting the town.

Red Aventurine is the perfect way to bring a touch of this season’s colour to your wardrobe. Try a focal stone on a long chain, or add a few smaller stones to a fun chunky chain . Earrings are another fun jewellery staple you’ll find easy to incorporate with this stunning burnt orange stone.

Next up, eggplant is making its rounds again! We’ve all been a fan of this colour for a long time, and it’s finally starting to make waves down the runways as well! Eggplant is perfect, sophisticated colour that looks great in the club or on the road.

Eggplant Pearls are the perfect way to start dabbling in this season’s purple. They’re a long-time favorite with jewellery designers and retail consumers alike, and are so easy to work with. Try large Eggplant Pearls dangling from a Cubic Zirconia Connector to make a classy earring that draws just the right amount of attention. Pearls are timeless, and you’ll be using these Eggplant Pearls for years to come.

Next down the runway is Royal blue. Still a designer favorite! Royal blue looks fantastic paired with black basics, and is a really fantastic way to add a good punch of colour to your wardrobe.

When you’re looking for royal blue, you can’t go wrong with Lapis Lazuli . This classic stone has been a favorite since the days of the ancient pharaohs, and is still in high demand for jewellery designers today. Add some chunky nuggets to a bracelet, hang some pear shapes off of your earrings, or even better, use one of the chunky slices as a fantastic focal pendant. Lapis Lazuli pairs well with sterling silver and gold alike, you really can’t go wrong!

Here’s a colour you saw last season; peach is still a designer favorite. It packs a heavier punch then last season’s baby pink, and is less assertive then hot pink. It’s fantastic for work, is an easy shade to wear to the beach, and compliments nearly every skin tone.

How fantastic is dyed Jade? We have a stunning Peach Dyed Jade that’ll fill your peach needs perfectly.
